At Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, in addition to modernizing its production facilities, special attention is being paid to improving its management and financial systems in line with international standards, as well as consistently developing its human resources. The next important step in this direction was the launch of a large-scale program to enhance the professional skills of specialists in the financial and economic department.

On 23 July of this year, the practical seminar was held at the “Metallurg” Palace of Culture to discuss the implementation of an agreement to organize online training for AMMC specialists. The program includes the basic course in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the study of ACCA international professional certification courses, and other areas of professional education.

Participating in the seminar were the employees of the Accounting and Financial Reporting Department, the Budgeting and Cost Control Department, and accountants from the Complex structural divisions.

During the event, the representatives of the educational organization provided participants with a detailed explanation of the structure of the educational process, the training process, the rules for working with a specialized distance learning platform, and other organizational issues related to the program's implementation.

Training qualified specialists in financial reporting is a key factor in strengthening the Complex position in international markets and increasing its investment attractiveness.

To ensure high-quality training and internal oversight of the educational process's effectiveness, the responsible employees have been appointed in each division. Seminar participants received comprehensive answers to their questions and discussed the main areas of focus for the upcoming training courses.

The implementation of this project will be an important step in further improving the Complex financial accounting system, expanding the use of modern digital educational technologies, and enhancing the intellectual potential of employees.
