The Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex  is not limited to production successes only — the plant actively participates in the life of society, implementing important social projects.

In 2025, the good deeds of the plant continue — now, with its sponsorship support, the building of the Specialized Boarding School No. 71 in Syrdarya district of Syrdarya region is being reconstructed.

This school, designed for children with physical and mental developmental delays, was built back in 1965 and has never undergone major repairs since then.

To date, the reconstruction of the building is approximately 90% complete. The special discipline classrooms, gym, canteen, library and sanitary facilities have already been updated. Windows, cold and hot water pipes, as well as the lighting system have been replaced. The roof has been partially repaired, the facade of the building has been brought to a modern look. It is also planned to build additional facilities on the school grounds: a waiting room for parents, a laundry, a warehouse, a checkpoint, a boiler room, a summer kitchen, an outdoor toilet, a greenhouse and other auxiliary facilities.

To create comfortable conditions for students, a mini-football and volleyball field, as well as gazebos for relaxation, will be built in the school yard. The school is designed for 240 students.

The building, reconstructed with the support of AMMC, is planned to be put into operation in the near future.
