Digital AMMC: Paperless Management

03 March 2026, 12:46 294

Today, digitalization of industry is no longer just a trend, but a imperative of our time. As part of the digital transformation at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, the financial and resource management system was completely updated.

From now on, all key processes - from accounting and procurement to finished product sales - have been transferred to a single digital platform, 1C:ERP. This ensured transparency of operations and significantly improved the efficiency of work.

Thanks to the implementation of an automated information system for accounting, financial reporting, and data consolidation, 46 structural divisions and approximately 2,800 users work in a single electronic accounting space.

Considering that the Complex conducts an average of 48,000 accounting and financial transactions monthly, the time spent to collect data and generate reports has been reduced by 50%. This significantly reduced the impact of the human factor, increased the speed of reporting, and allowed management decisions to be made more quickly.

Every year, the Complex processes approximately 26,000 orders and applications electronically. The system fully digitalizes procurement management and warehouse control processes. Opportunities are opened for annual financial planning, and inventory balances in warehouses have been transferred to continuous electronic monitoring. Receipts and disposals are accounted exclusively in electronic format.

As a result, seven types of paper documents have been eliminated, and the order generation and approval processes have been significantly accelerated. Business processes have been optimized by 25%, and the volume of inventory in warehouses has been reduced by 15% (by 260 billion UZ Soums). These indicators play an important role in effective working capital management.

Currently, the total number of AMMC contractors is 15 thousand, the contract database contains 158 thousand units, of which 2.6 thousand are active. More than 3 thousand electronic invoices are issued monthly. Automated contract registration, payment processing, and balance control have strengthened financial discipline and ensured transparency of payments.

The processes of sales and shipment of finished products have also been brought into line with modern business processes: 80% of document flow has been transferred from paper to electronic format. All stages are fully automated, ensuring transparency during the shipping process and increasing the accuracy and efficiency of customer settlements.

The system centrally manages financial activities of 46 structural divisions of the Complex. The single database calculates 210 types of income and 2,600 types of expenses. This has brought cost analysis, performance evaluation and strategic planning to a whole new level.

In other words, the complete digitalization of financial and resource management at the AMMC is a step toward increasing the production efficiency and more rational use of resources.
