Sustainable Fitch Rating Agency has assigned JSC “Almalyk MMC” an ESG Entity Rating of “3” and an entity rating of 56. This reflects the company’s sustainable development strategy, as well as good governance and environmental profiles, balanced against the environmental challenges inherent in the mining and metallurgical sector.

This is the highest indicator in the republican mining and metallurgical industry.

The assessment includes the company’s compliance with requirements and compliance with taxonomies, contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and integration of ESG considerations into its business, strategy and management.
