It is easier to prevent a fire than to extinguish it

05 June 2025, 8:12 896

Today, safety issues, in particular fire safety, remain among the most pressing in our country. In many cases, fires occur due to banal carelessness, inattention and, above all, failure to comply with fire safety rules. Although all this could have been avoided if safety had always been a priority.

An analysis of recent fires in the country shows that most of them were the result of elementary violations. Therefore, it is important that every home, every enterprise and every organization regularly carry out preventive measures to ensure fire safety.

In this regard, in accordance with the resolution of the Government Commission, from May 20 to June 20, the republic is holding the "Stepped-up 30 Days" campaign. As part of this event, the inspectors of the Fire Safety Department at AMMC facilities are conducting large-scale preventive work.

In particular, the zinc plant workers were told about the causes of fires and emergency situations, as well as how to act in such cases. In addition, the area is being cleared of garbage, flammable materials and dry vegetation.

In conclusion, it is worth remembering: fire comes without warning. Its consequences are material damage, environmental problems and, in the worst cases, human casualties.

Kutbiddin Abduvaitov,

Inspector of the Fire Safety Department at AMMC facilities
