Athletes from the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, led by coach Andrey Sazonov, also took part in competitions in one of the most spectacular and technically challenging sports, demonstrating impressive results and making a successful start to the season.

Thus, in the race for motorcycles with an engine capacity of 125 cub.cm, Emran Ablyazov finished in third place. Shevket Suleymanov crossed the finish line second in the ČZ class.

This year, for the first time, races were held among athletes in the 35+ category. Representatives of the AMMC also took the podium: Andrey Sazonov (junior) confidently took first place, and Sergey Vinogradov became the third prize winner.

In the 500 cub.cm motorcycle class, Emran Ablyazov again took third place among the winners.

The crew of Viktor Lavrov and Bedriy Akimov, competing in the 750 cub.cm category, particularly distinguished itself. The athletes finished first and recorded the victory to their credit.

Following the results of the first stage of the national championship, AMMC motocross riders finished the competition as leaders in the overall team classification.

In addition, the tournament included memorial races in honor of veteran labor leader Nurali Boymurodov, with the winners receiving awards.

The team is facing the second stage of the Uzbekistan Championship, which will take place in the city of Navoi in a month. At the same time, the athletes will also compete in the international competition “Ipak yo‘li”, where they will defend the honor of the country.

The high results of the motocross riders became possible thanks to the constant support of the Complex management, which is provided to the sports and technical club of the social facilities department. It is this attention and systematic work that creates a solid foundation for successful performances at the national and international levels.

The club members express their sincere gratitude to the management of the plant, as well as to the management of the Social Facilities Administration and the Vatanparvar organization for their continued support and assistance in the development of technical sports.
