One such event took place on August 27 of this year at the Metallurg Palace of Culture.
The event was opened by demonstration of a video titled “The Value of Independence”.
Abdulla Khursanov, Chairman of the Board of “Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex” JSC and a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, spoke at the ceremonial event and sincerely congratulated the industry workers who had been awarded state honors. In his speech, the Chairman of the Management Board emphasized that such high regard and attention from the state represent, above all, a recognition of the dedicated work of the plant’s staff - numbering in the thousands - as well as a testament to the country’s leadership placing great trust in the enterprise.
He also noted the invaluable benefits that independence has brought to our people, emphasizing that the fundamental principle underlying the large-scale reforms being implemented in the country under the President’s leadership is the safeguarding of the interests and well-being of the person.
It was noted that, thanks to the stability ensured by the state policy pursued in the country, strategic investment projects aimed at securing further economic growth are being implemented at AMMC at a rapid pace. In particular, note was made of Copper Concentrator No. 3 and its associated infrastructure, built as part of the mega-project to develop the Yoshlik I deposit, as well as the commencement of construction on Copper Concentrator No. 4 and a new metallurgical complex.
It was specifically emphasized that protection of the social and material interests of the Complex employees, as well as creation of safe and comfortable working conditions, remain among the enterprise management’s priorities. This work shall be consistently continued in the future.
During the event, special attention was paid to outstanding employees who, through years of dedicated labor, have made a significant contribution to the development of the plant, the strengthening of the country’s economic might, and the advancement of industry. During the ceremony, 117 dedicated employees from various structural divisions of the Complex were ceremoniously awarded the “35 Years of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan” commemorative badges.
The awardees expressed their sincere gratitude to the esteemed President of the country for the high appreciation of their work and the trust placed in them. They emphasized that they regard this high honor not only as recognition of the results of their work but also as a sign of the even greater responsibility and trust placed in them for their future professional endeavors.
The event concluded with a concert program prepared by the creative team of the Metallurg Palace of Culture, which put all the participants in a festive mood.
