Ahead of the seventh Summit of Central Asian leaders, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev published an article titled “Central Asia at the Threshold of a New Era”, highlighting both current and future regional cooperation initiatives, the role of the region in the international arena under the “Central Asia Plus” format, and key issues related to Afghanistan.

The content of the President’s article was conveyed to employees during a series of educational and awareness-raising events held at the “Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex “JSC. The events took place across several production units, including the Zinc Plant, Thermal Power Plant, and Social Facilities Department, emphasizing the relevance and importance of the article’s ideas today.

The article underscores that Central Asia is entering a new, historically significant phase of development. For the first time in decades, regional countries are moving forward together, building an environment of mutual trust, good neighborliness, and respect that lays the foundation for future collaboration.

At the events, AMMC employees were joined by R.Mavlyanov, Chief Labor and Legal Inspector of the Trade Union Council, and librarians M.Omonova and G.Urazbayeva from “Metallurg” Palace of Culture.

Officials noted that the President’s article serves as a well-grounded appeal, emphasizing the path toward making New Central Asia a single space of peace, prosperity, and sustainable development.
