+998 71 619 23 33The Uzbek Complex of Technological Metals (UzKTM) has become a full member of the most authoritative organization in the industry — the International Tungsten Industry Association (ITIA).
The ITIA Association was founded in 1988 and is engaged in the analysis of the global tungsten market, coordination of scientific research and monitoring of regulation in the industry.
The main activities of the association are in-depth analysis of the extraction, processing and application of tungsten, the introduction of digital and analytical approaches to industry management, as well as the promotion of scientific developments and sustainable technological solutions. Today, the association unites leading companies and research centers from high-tech countries such as Japan, Germany and Austria.
The accession of UzKTM to ITIA strengthens the position of Uzbekistan as a stable participant in the global tungsten industry. Membership in the organization will open access to global analytics, industry statistics and opportunities to participate in major international events.
It is worth noting that Uzbekistan's entry into this association became possible thanks to the launch in December 2022 of the first stage of the Ingichka processing plant, built by the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex . It was then that the industrial technology for processing tungsten-containing man-made waste was first introduced in the country.
In August 2022, the first products were received here that received international certification. In 2024, the second stage of the plant was launched.
Today, UzKTM produces up to 300 tons of tungsten concentrate per year.
