Uzbekistan is today among the countries with the largest gold reserves in the world. The contribution of mining enterprises, in particular, the large mines in our country, to maintaining our country's leading position in this regard is invaluable. In particular, the units within AMMC operating in the gold mining and processing sector are working effectively in this direction. In addition, the Chadak Mine Administration located in the Pop district of the Namangan region, has also achieved the high results and has been exceeding its production targets. In the first six months of 2025, the Mine Administration achieved 101% of the ore extraction plan and 103% of the processing target. It is especially noteworthy that the team fulfilled the silver mining plan to 124.8%.

Today, the large-scale works are being carried out at the “Pirmirob” mine controlled by the Administration to replenish the layers with decreasing reserves. In particular, a new section has been launched at the mine, and underground ore mining has been organized at this facility based on modern technology and advanced equipment.

The new section effectively uses the modern equipment, such as loaders, pneumatic perforators, drilling equipment, and lifting mechanisms. This not only increases productivity, but also eases the work of miners.

According to Nurillohon Hatamov, Chief Engineer of the “Pirmirob” mine, 950 meters of drifting have been carried out so far at the new section, which was established 2 years ago. Mainly mining and ore preparation works are being carried out at the section. This section is an inclined shaft located at a depth of 120 meters below ground level, then a 1056-meter slope section and the horizontal tunnels.

The launch of a new section at the “Pirmirob” mine will significantly increase the volume of ore extraction at the enterprise, as well as serve as an important basis for ensuring the stability of our country's gold reserves and further increasing our economic potential.
