As is known, on February 25-26 of this year, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, paid an official visit to our country.

During the visit, the issues of further development and expansion of Uzbek-Pakistani strategic partnership and multilateral cooperation were discussed at bilateral high-level negotiations.

Also, as part of the business program of the visit, the leaders of both countries participated in the Uzbek-Pakistani joint business forum.

At the invitation of our President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the delegation of Pakistani geology and mining industry representatives visited AMMC on 27 February of this year.

Initially, the guests visited the "Qalmoqqir" deposit and got acquainted with the production process.

The next destination of the guests was the "Yoshlik-1" mine built in the framework of the investment project "Development of the Yoshlik-1 deposit", which is recognized as the project of the century.

Today, since the beginning of the project of quarry construction, 217.1 million m³ of mine surface had been opened. The mine is 4.0 km long, 2.3 km wide, and 235 m deep. 41.63 km of railways have been laid and electrified. 400 machines are operating at the mine.

The representatives of the Pakistani delegation were also impressed by the 3^rd Copper concentrator Plant.

Currently, in parallel with the construction of the 3^rd Copper concentrator plant, the installation of process equipment is in the final stages.

During the negotiations, it was agreed to establish bilateral cooperation.
