As previously reported, within the framework of the “Anti-corruption month”, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex held a mini-football championship among engineering-technical staff and managers of its structural divisions under the slogan “Combating corruption is a national duty and a matter of conscience for every patriot”.

The tournament took place on 22-23 November this year. In the match for 3rd place, the team of the Trade Union defeated the Copper Concentrator Plant team with a score of 6:3.

In the final, the teams of the Copper-Smelting Plant and the Kalmakyr Mining Administration team faced off.

In a decisive match marked by intense competition, the Kalmakyr team claimed a convincing victory with a score of 5:0.

At the end of the tournament, the following players were recognized in special nominations.

Bahodir Umurzokov, Head of the Copper-Molybdenum Concentrates Sorting and Drying Shop, Copper Concentrator Plant – Best forward.

Ispand Fayziyev, Head of the Geology section, Kalmakyr Mining Administration – Best defender.

Abdukodir Fayziyev, Mechanic of the Metallurgy shop, Copper-Smelting Plant – Best goalkeeper.
