On April 26 this year, the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a seminar on the exchange of experience in the field of digitalization of mining enterprises, which was attended by representatives of the AMMC, NMMC, Navoiyuran JSC, Uzmetkombinat JSC, Uzbekkumir JSC and the ministries responsible for digitization.

Abdulla Azizov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Almalyk MMC JSC for digitalization, told the participants of the seminar about 48 digitalization and production automation projects implemented at the plant last year, and that thanks to work in this direction, more than 330 billion UZS were saved, as well as ongoing projects this year.

Also during the event, the state of work on digitalization at the NMMC and at Navoiyuran JSC was discussed, the participants exchanged views and offered their ideas on solving problematic issues, tasks were outlined for the digitalization of the mining and transport complex, technological and business processes in 2023, automation of production processes and application of modern information systems.

Following the results of the seminar, the participants agreed to organize visits to mining and metallurgical enterprises, the purpose of which would be to familiarize themselves with the implemented projects in the field of digital transformation, as well as to study the programs and systems implemented at the plants.
