+998 71 619 23 33Today, artificial intelligence is rapidly penetrating all sectors, and the manufacturing industry is one of the key areas for its application. Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex is paying special attention to this area, consistently implementing state-of-the-art AI solutions that can significantly improve the efficiency of production processes.
The Complex specialists have developed and are already implementing three next-generation intelligent systems: "EM AI (Lab)," "EM AI (Tyre)," and "EM AI (Oil)." These solutions enable to make a transition from the conventional equipment maintenance model to a more advanced, predictive management model.
The systems provide:
- intelligent equipment diagnostics,
- early detection and prediction of malfunctions,
- digitalization of laboratory processes,
- creation of a unified database for equipment and components,
- resource management (oils, tires, components) based on data analysis.
In addition, real-time online monitoring, digital twin technologies, equipment lifecycle management, and spare parts inventory control have been introduced. All this creates a new production environment where technology becomes as transparent, manageable, and predictable as possible.
EM AI (Lab): united laboratory digital environment
The "EM AI (Lab)" system is an intelligent platform that integrates laboratory and operational data into a single digital ecosystem. Its implementation is currently in the final stages.
The platform enables the creation of digital equipment passports with complete operating history, complete elimination of paperwork, the automation of sample taking and recording using QR codes, and the integration of laboratory and operational data into a single system.
The system's particular value lies in its use of artificial intelligence for the early detection of signs of wear and tear. AI records equipment operating modes and alerts to potential malfunctions in advance, giving engineering services the ready-made analytical conclusions and recommendations.
The practical impact has already been confirmed: in just one month, engine failures on three dump trucks were prevented. Following the system's alerts, the equipment was stopped and inspected, confirming concerns. Timely replacement of individual components saved the engines and generated an economic benefit of 12.6 billion UZS.
EM AI (Oil): monitoring and optimization of consumption
This system is designed for intelligent management of oils and lubricants. It monitors consumption, identifies deviations, and predicts the condition of components.
It can be used to optimize oil change intervals, reduce operating costs, and extend the service life of equipment. The system also automates material receipt and consumption records, generates reports, and enhances financial control.
EM AI (Tyre): tire condition management
This system is responsible for monitoring and analyzing tire condition. It tracks parameters in real time, predicts wear, and reduces the risk of accidents. Furthermore, the system maintains tire inventory, helps plan needs, control inventory, and accurately forecast future demand.
Unified ecosystem and new industrial approach
All the solutions are integrated into a single digital ecosystem and operate synchronously. This improves the accuracy of analytics and the quality of management decisions.
It's important to understand: this isn't just a matter of implementing certain technologies. A new industrial management model is actually developed, where decisions are based on data, risks are predicted in advance, and efficiency becomes a manageable parameter.
The work in this area is only gaining momentum. The team has a clear strategic vision and significant potential for further development. Solution refinement, expansion of functionality, and scaling of implementation are ongoing.
These systems are an important part of the "Digital AMMC-2030" strategy, aimed at the comprehensive digitalization of production and the development of a next-generation industry.
