21 October 2025, 12:50 524

Rationalization comprises proposals aimed at using existing production resources and technologies more efficiently. Such measures can simplify processes, reduce unnecessary labor, and increase productivity of equipment and installations. Most importantly, by introducing improved technologies into industry, substantial savings in energy, raw materials, and time can be achieved.

At AMMC – one of the world’s leading copper-producing enterprises – a functioning mechanism is in place for receiving, reviewing, and implementing rationalization proposals. At a seminar held yesterday by the Industrial Water Supply Department, the promotion of employees’ innovative potential was among the topics discussed.

Nargiza Bekbutayeva, Lead Engineer for Parents and Inventive Work at the AMMC Department of Science and Innovation, explained to attendees the procedures for creating new technical developments, securing financing, and obtaining intellectual-property (author’s) rights.

By the numbers: over the first nine months of 2025, 24 AMMC employees submitted a total of 27 rationalization proposals, 11 of which have been implemented in practice. Thanks to these innovations, the enterprises has so far achieved economic gains totaling 11.4 billion UZS.

During the seminar – titled “Rationalization and Invention – a Foundation for Technical and Innovative Development” – workers had the opportunity to ask questions and received detailed expert answers aimed at encouraging their technological initiatives.
