+998 71 619 23 33During the years of independence, AMMC's international relations in trade and economic areas have been expanding, which, in turn, contributes to further strengthening Uzbekistan's position in the world market. The expansion of export geography and the increasing flow of foreign investments are turning the Combine into a strategic economic center not only for the country, but also for the entire Central Asia. In particular, many large foreign companies are making proposals for cooperation with AMMC within the framework of megaprojects. The visit of representatives of Sany Heavy Industry Co. Ltd. from China yesterday is one of them.
At the meeting organized between the management of AMMC and members of the delegation of the Chinese company, the issues of supplying quarry equipment and establishing joint production, as well as the development of renewable energy projects, were mainly discussed.
The SANY representatives noted that the company is the world leader in sales of quarry excavators, and is actively developing the development of electric and hybrid quarry dump trucks with a lifting capacity of up to 320 tons. In addition, the company's experience in the construction of solar power plants and the production of renewable energy equipment was presented.
At the meeting, the management of AMMC noted that, taking into account the Combine's plans to expand the volume of ore extraction and processing by 2035, the demand for special quarry equipment is growing, and therefore the prospects for long-term cooperation with Sany Heavy Industry Co. Ltd are very important. Economic feasibility, product competitiveness and compliance with international quality standards were highlighted as the main conditions for the implementation of joint projects.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the possibilities of localization of production, cost reduction through the use of local raw materials and labor, as well as support measures provided by the government of Uzbekistan, as well as privileges and preferences for the import of equipment.
At the end of the meeting, measures were agreed to continue the negotiations and expand the exchange of technical and economic information.
