+998 71 619 23 33As part of the nationwide “Green space” initiative, large-scale landscaping efforts continue across the country to expand forests and green areas, ensure their efficient use, and combat desertification.
Recently, a one-hectare plot of land in the Uvaysiy neighborhood of our city was planted with ornament saplings as part of the autumn tree-planting campaign under the “Green space” project, laying the foundation for a new, picturesque park.
The previously neglected, rocky land was first cleared and treated with the help of special machinery.
This charitable initiative was carried out at the suggestion and sponsorship of the Almalyk Specialized Prosecutor’s Office, with active participation from employees of the Consumer Goods Production Department. The 300 ornamental trees, shrubs, and flower seedlings – including varieties such as hamisha bahor and lavender – planted in this eco-park will soon beautify our city and contribute to cleaner air. Oversight of this new eco-park has been assigned to the Copper Concentrator Plant.
Indeed, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical complex has already established several such eco-parks, and efforts under the “Green space” national project continue at a rapid pace.
