On the initiative of the Council of Veterans of the Mining and Metallurgical Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and under sponsorship Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex JSC, a festive event dedicated to the Day of Miners and Metallurgists was held at the Marhamat celebration hall.

The Chairman of the Board of Almalyk MMC JSC, Senator Abdulla Khursanov and the Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Mining and Metallurgical Industry of Uzbekistan Alexander Farmanov addressed the participants with warmest words. In their speeches, they emphasized that in our country, where special attention is paid to human dignity, veterans of labor are always surrounded by care and respect. As part of the event, five veterans of the complex were awarded the honorary badge "Active Veteran".

The event continued with a vivid concert prepared by the creative talent of the “Metallurg” Hall of Culture, which gave the guests joy and a festive mood.
