Yesterday, a tactical training exercise was held on the premises of the Wagon Repair Facility of Railway Workshop №2 under the Industrial Railway Transport Department (IRTD).

The event was attended by Commander of AMMC Civil Protection Unit K.Dushanov, Head of the Professional Fire and Rescue Unit №51 A.Sobirjonov, Deputy Head of the IRTD for Preserving Inventory and Material Assets M.Madmarov, Deputy Chief Engineer of the IRTD O.Rakhmatillayev, as well as members of voluntary rescue units.

According to the scenario, a railway wagon (dump car) began moving due to absence of wheel chocks and collided with a tanker carrying sulfuric acid. As a result, a fire broke out and sulfuric acid spilled. The exercise focused on eliminating the consequences of the emergency and evacuating injured workers.

During the training, officials provided explanations on civil protection and fire safety regulations and reminded employees to follow personal safety rules under any circumstances.

The tactical training exercise was evaluated as satisfactory.
