Abdukadirov Ortik Azimovich is a dedicated specialist who has gone through such a school of work. His life and work are inextricably linked with the Zinc Plant, its vibrant work process and hard-working people.

Ortik Azimovich, born in 1978 in Almalyk, began his working career in 1993. Over the years, the young specialist gained experience, and the secrets of the profession became deeper and deeper. Today he has more than thirty years of experience and is a master of his craft.

At first glance, the profession of an electric gas welder seems like working with fire and iron. In fact, this profession embodies precision, patience, knowledge and high responsibility. If a single spark from a welder couple two metals, his skill ensures strength and quality.

Behind every detail, behind every design in the factory, there is human labor. And the welder is at one of the most critical points in this process. There is no room for haste here. Because strength, quality and safety start with craftsmanship.

The work of such people is not always visible. They are not on stage, but in the workshop. Not to applause, but with tools. But they make a worthy contribution to the sustainability of production.

Many years of dedicated work of Ortik Azimovich were also duly appreciated. By the Decree of the head of state ““On awarding of a group of public officers, factory workers and workers of the socio-economic spheres in connection with the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, dedicated workers in the sphere were honorably awarded.

It was a joyful event for all of us that among those awarded were employees of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex. This recognition is a high assessment of the work of not only one person, but also thousands of people who selflessly work at the Complex.
