At the initiative of the Spirituality and Education Council of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex JSC, the Complex divisions are hosting informational and promotional events dedicated to the Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan, as well as the results of the expanded meeting of the Security Council held on January 13 current year, chaired by Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

On January 21, similar meetings were held at the Central Repair and Mechanical Plant, the Zinc Plant, the Central Analytical Laboratory, and the Industrial Rail Transport Department.

The event was attended by Gayrat Majid, Deputy Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan; Yahyo Fayoz – a poet and member of the Writers’ Union; Abdurasul Jumakulov – a member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, publisher, publicist, and editor-in-chief of the “Khurriyat” newspaper; Lobar Jalilova - head of the press service of the Tashkent Region Department of Ecology; Saidali Rakhmonov - Hero of Uzbekistan; and young scientists Sardor Doniev and Bobur Juraev, teachers at the Almalyk Technical Institute.

The speakers emphasized that the President’s Address is a strategic program aimed at ensuring the well-being of the people and maintaining peace in the country. It was noted that the priority objectives set by the President include strengthening stability, enhancing the defense capability of the Armed Forces in line with the imperatives of our time, and transforming the institution of the mahalla into a strong pillar of society. All of this serves to build a strong democratic state and a just society.

The guests noted that peace is the key to sustainable development, and the Security Council’s decisions are aimed at reliably protecting the peaceful lives of citizens through digitalization and modernization of the country’s defense capabilities.

The strategic goals outlined by the head of our state require every citizen to exercise high vigilance, responsibility, and a sense of belonging to the fate of the Motherland.

In a globalized world, peace is ensured not only by protecting state borders but also by preserving society’s spiritual space from alien ideas and information attacks. During the meetings, the value of peace and the need to adequately counter information threats were discussed.

Participants also presented their creative works to the Complex employees.

The AMMC employees, being deeply aware of the significance of the tasks set, make a significant contribution to strengthening the economic strength and security of Uzbekistan through their dedicated work and patriotism.

The events will be held from January 21 to 23.
