Recently Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine was visited by representatives of the state unitary enterprise "Tajik rare metals" of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The delegation from the neighboring country included the chief director of the State Unitary Enterprise "Tajredmet" Azimi Mirzoato Muidin, the director of the hydrometallurgical plant, which is part of the enterprise, Salimboy Azimov, the director of the machine-building plant Abdukhakim Karimov, the chief engineer of the JV "Khujant-ZIL" Mirzorakhim Khakimov.

The meeting was held in the executive office, during which issues of establishing mutually beneficial partnerships and exchange of experience were discussed.

Then the guests visited the central repair and mechanical plant. The issues of training the employees of the machine-building plant of the State Unitary Enterprise "Tajredmet" and organizing the exchange of experience were discussed.

Afterwards, the delegation visited the copper and zinc plants, got acquainted with the technological processes taking place at these enterprises. During the visit, the guests studied and considered the possibilities of processing industrial waste at the facilities of the hydrometallurgical plant.
