The machine tool stock of the Central Repair Mechanical Plant (CRMP) is replenished with new modern equipment. At present, two more machines have taken their place in the mining equipment section (ME) of the mechanical assembly shop. To tell about new arrivals, as well as about the changes that have been taking place recently at this production site, we asked the head of the MSC Rustam DANIAROV.
- As part of the implementation of the investment project “Development of the “Yoshlik I” field, the plant continues to receive new equipment, which is installed in the workshops of the CRMP. Several new machines have been installed in the mining equipment area, which has expanded significantly in recent years. Large parts and assemblies are manufactured here, which, due to their large dimensions, cannot be processed in other areas. The main customers are copper concentrating plants, as well as plants and other divisions of the plant. In June last year, a German horizontal boring machine from the HBW company arrived at the CRMP, the installation of which was completed in July. The new equipment is designed for processing workpieces: conveyor drums, gear shafts, rims, end walls, liners, bearing housings, etc. Installation supervision, which involves the installation, connection and start-up of the supplied equipment, personnel training and quality control of the work performed, as well as commissioning, were performed by the manufacturer's specialists, who also conducted a two-week training on machine maintenance with locksmiths and instrumentation adjusters. In the future, our other specialists will also be trained in the maintenance of machine tools with program control. The high-tech 5-axis mechanism installed at the ME section has a number of advantages: the machine is easy to maintain, “readable” for programmers, has its own emulsion cooling system, and is fully automated, which makes it possible to reduce the time for processing the part by almost three times. Another plus is the high quality and accuracy of the surface of the manufactured part, the purity of which reaches 1000 microns, as well as the availability of a software control system manufactured by the Japanese company FANUC.
Currently, the new equipment has already been put into operation and is performing its functions.
In February of this year, installation was completed at the ME section and commissioning work was completed for another German machine – gear-milling. According to experts, the installed equipment has a fairly large number of technical characteristics. Its setting allows you to change some parameters and use the panel to obtain gears with different types of sizes. Now we will be able to manufacture parts that were previously purchased abroad, for example, to cut the gear shaft M 28Z43 for mills installed at UDI of the copper concentrating plant. And this CNC machine has a number of advantages: it reduces the time for processing and manufacturing of parts and spare parts, which, in turn, affects the cost reduction and increase in output. In addition, the new equipment controlled by SIEMENS software allows you to troubleshoot, repair and configure the mechanism remotely via the Internet.
Very soon, a heavy lathe will be purchased for processing parts with a diameter of 4000 mm and a length of up to 8 meters, which will solve the issue of providing parts and spare parts to both the operating and concentrating plants under construction. Currently, preparations are underway for the installation of technological equipment. The arrival of specialists from Germany is expected, who will install the Gleason P8000 vertical gear cutting machine.
The plans include the arrival of two more AXIOM 900 screw-cutting lathes, which will replenish the machine park of the enterprise.
The new equipment put into operation at the production sites of the CRMP will not only significantly increase the volume of production and expand its range, but also improve its quality.
