The training test facility is equipped with modern training technologies and will be important for improving the quality of teaching and play an important role in improving the professional skills of metallurgists.

The training hall is equipped with process diagrams of the Vanyukov furnace and the sulphuric acid shop, special training simulators, training stands for power supply and pneumatic mechanisms of various equipment are installed here, a model of the anode furnace is presented.

The digitalized training test bench will help to quickly prepare highly qualified process personnel, specialists in monitoring measuring instruments and automation equipment for managing complex technological processes of the enterprise in an automated system, as well as software engineers.

Thus, if earlier it took 6 months to train representatives of such professions as a Vanyukov furnace smelter, a sulphuric acid shop operator, a software engineer, an adjuster of control and measuring instruments and automation, then thanks to the new test facility this period is only a month.

Another important aspect is that here specialists test technological processes (in the Vanyukov furnace, sulphuric acid production) to eliminate errors and failures that may occur in the automated control system, without interfering with the actively operating control system.

The personnel are also trained in practical methods and analysis of accidents that may occur during process control.

There is also the possibility of making changes to the project within the framework of autonomous training testing, when there is a need to change the software layout of the automated process control system. This allows specialists to carry it out without interruption.

Thus, the digital test facility created at the Metallurgical Plant will ensure high efficiency in improving the qualifications of plant employees.
