On 19 June 2025, the international rating agency QS Quacquarelli Symonds published the results of the QS World University Rankings 2026.

It is gratifying that Tashkent State Technical University has achieved a significant historical achievement in this ranking: for the first time, it entered the list of the 1000 best universities in the world, taking positions in the 901–950 range.

The university showed a particularly impressive result in the “Graduate Success” criterion, taking 540th place in the world and first place among all universities in Uzbekistan.

These achievements testify to the high quality of training specialists, their successful self-realization after graduation and the deep integration of the educational process with the production sectors of the economy.

On June 21, 2025, on the occasion of this success, the university held a ceremonial event, where key factors of achievement were discussed, experiences were exchanged and prospects for further cooperation were outlined.

The event was attended by representatives of the training center of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex. It was especially noted that the effective partnership with AMMC made a significant contribution to the university achieving such a high international result. In particular, the discussion was about the students' industrial practice at the plant, their subsequent employment and ongoing support by the enterprise, which uses a practice-oriented approach to personnel training.
