+998 71 619 23 33Uzbekistan has become a full member of the European Advanced Carbon and Graphite Association (ECGA), becoming the first country in Central Asia to join the global graphite industry community.
At a meeting in Brussels, Amir Abidov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Uzbek Technological Metals Complex, presented the company's achievements in scientific research, production capabilities and technological potential to an international audience. The science-based approach and the plant's leadership position in the region were highly praised by ECGA participants.
"If our cooperation develops consistently, Uzbekistan will be able to play a key role in providing the European Union with strategically important resources. This platform opens up broad prospects in the field of technological progress, industrial cooperation and knowledge sharing," said Corina Hebestreit, Secretary General of the Association.
Membership in ECGA will open up new opportunities for Uzbekistan: cooperation with leading European research centers, the introduction of graphite and carbon technologies, participation in international advanced training programs, as well as the exchange of experience in the field of research and "green" technologies.
For reference: ECGA brings together representatives from 33 countries and is an authoritative platform for advanced technologies, scientific developments and manufacturers in the field of graphite and carbon materials.
