On the eve of the 34^th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Day of Fatherland Defender on 14 January, AMMC prepared the decent gift for the servicemen guarding the Copper Complex.

On 7 January of this year, the new training building with modern infrastructure, built under the auspices of AMMC, was put into operation in the military unit of the Command of the Protection Troops of Classified Objects of the Ministry of Defense in the town of Almalyk.

The ceremonial opening of this building was attended by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lt General Shukhrat Khalmuhamedov, the management of AMMC, the officials of the Almalyk town administration, the Hero of Uzbekistan Saidali Rahmonov, as well as representatives of the public.

The speakers at the event sincerely congratulated those present on the holiday and noted that the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, pays special attention to strengthening the defense potential of our country, creating favorable conditions for the effective conduct of combat service by military personnel, and ensuring their social protection.

After that, the Minister of Defense thanked the management of AMMC which provided comprehensive assistance in the construction and repair of this building, and handed over the keys to new service vehicles to the personnel of the military unit.

After the solemn ceremony, the guests got acquainted with the conditions created for military personnel in the new training building.

This three-story building, built in connection with the commissioning of the Copper Processing Plant-3 within the framework of the "Development of the Yoshlik-1 Mine" investment project implemented at AMMC in order to expand the security service and create suitable conditions for improving the qualifications of military personnel, is designed for 120 places, and about 50 rooms in it contain combat and spiritual and educational training classes, library, IT room and service rooms, organized in accordance with modern requirements and equipped with the newest equipment.

Also, the closed parking lot for 20 special military equipment was built adjacent to the building.

It is noteworthy that the design and construction work of this building was carried out by the structural divisions of the Complex.
