20 April 2026, 14:22 248

Today, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex is steadily strengthening its reputation as a reliable and promising partner for foreign investors. Powerful production potential and significant reserves of strategic raw materials make the enterprise increasingly attractive for international cooperation. This is also evidenced by the growing number of foreign delegations visiting the plant.

On April 16 of this year, AMMC met a delegation headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to the Republic of Uzbekistan, József Rózsa. The guests expressed interest in establishing mutually beneficial cooperation with the plant.

During the meeting with the management of the plant, prospects for the implementation of joint projects with Hungarian companies were discussed. In particular, issues of cooperation with EU-Roller on the organization of production of conveyor rollers were discussed.

During the visit, the delegation also visited the crushing and transshipment complex located at the Yoshlik I mine, where they got acquainted with the ore transportation process to the warehouse of the Copper Concentration Plant-3.

For information: ore is transported using six apron feeders manufactured by the German company Aumund, then via belt conveyors and two 4,200-meter-long main lines manufactured by FLSmidth. Both conveyors are equipped with electric motors of the German company ABB (4 units with a capacity of 1,500 kW each) and supply up to 6,500 tons of ore per hour at a speed of 4 m/s from the Yoshlik I mine to the plant’s warehouse with a total capacity of 320 thousand tons.

In addition, the guests got acquainted in detail with the activities of the MOF-3 (Copper Concentration Plant-3).

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Uzbekistan, József Rózsa said:

“I visited AMMC for the first time two years ago, and during this time the plant has noticeably transformed. The MOF-3, which was officially launched on March 16 this year under the leadership of your head of state, is particularly impressive. This is a modern enterprise equipped with advanced technologies. Today, representatives of leading Hungarian mining companies have come with me. I am sure that in the future we will be able to implement joint projects and bring our cooperation to a new level”.
