Exactly 70 years ago, on 1 April 1955, the Industrial Water supply workshop began its work. Since then, the workforce of this division has played a key role in the process chain of the Complex.

On 30 September 2024, the workshop was transformed into a full-fledged department, including 8 production sites and 4 process shifts.

In honor of the 70th anniversary of the team, a festive event was organized on 10 April of this year.

Speaking at the celebration, the First Deputy Chairman of Board of JSC “Almalyk MMC” for economics, finance and transformation Bekhzod Mamatov noted that today the department not only provides the enterprise with industrial water, but also actively participates in the implementation of the project to develop the Yoshlik I deposit. He congratulated the team on the anniversary and expressed his warm wishes to them. On the occasion of the holiday, by the order of the Chairman of Board of Almalyk MMC Abdulla Khursanov, five top workers were awarded the "Miner's Glory" badge of the 3^rd degree. Another 30 workers received certificates of honor and valuable gifts.

The festive atmosphere was complemented by a concert prepared by artistic teams of the State institute of arts and Culture of Uzbekistan, as well as artists of the “Metallurg” palace of culture.

The audience especially warmly received the performance of Honored artist Aziz Rajabiy whose songs gave everyone a real festive mood. Also on the same day, a solemn event was held in the “Oksaroy” complex.
