On the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the adoption of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) and the Almalyk City Governor’s Office jointly hosted a spiritual and educational event under the slogan “One People, One Homeland, One Flag.”

The ceremony opened with the State Flag of Uzbekistan being solemnly presented by the Honor Guard.

During the event, Almalyk City Governor Kobil Khamdamov and Sadi Shermatov, Deputy Chairman of AMMC for Personnel and Social Affairs, highlighted the unique significance of the State Flag as a symbol of Uzbekistan’s sovereignty. They emphasized that the flag represents the nation’s past and present, independence, peace, and stability, and extended warm congratulations to all attendees.

Winners of the creative contest “Flag – Pride of the Nation!” were honored, an initiative organized jointly by the AMMC Council for Spirituality and Enlightenment, the Youth Union, the Information Service, and the Trade Union Council.

Deputy and legal expert Matluba Ashurova shared detailed insights on state symbols and the importance of the national flag.

The event also showcased a concert program by the creative teams of the Palace of Culture “Metallurg”, which was met with great enthusiasm.

The celebrations concluded with a parade of vehicles proudly displaying the national flag, a fitting tribute to the symbol of Uzbekistan’s independence and bright future.
