— Today a truly important event took place: the first meeting of women leaders representing Uzbekistan and Europe in the field of international cooperation. A year ago, together with Feruza Khamidova, we thought about creation of a permanent platform for such meetings in order to unite women and form a sustainable professional community. And today this idea has become a reality.
According to Ekaterina Galitsyna, an important role in this was played by the active growth of international partnerships of Almalyk MMC JSC, which is dynamically developing cooperation in global markets. At the same time, European structures remain one of the key partners of the Complex .
— We see how women are increasingly manifest themselves in various areas – in economics, public life, business. Through events like these, we want to inspire girls and women not to be afraid to take the next step – in their career, in their education, in their favorite occupation,” she emphasized. Galitsyna also noted the high level of participants and experts gathered at the site: among them are successful employees of AMMC, as well as representatives of European banks, international companies, medicine, the real sector of the economy and other industries.
“Our future goals are to expand this community, involve as many women as possible, unite efforts and support young girls in their quest for professional growth and development. We want them not to be afraid to take the first steps towards their dream,” she concluded.
In conclusion, the participants noted the high organizational level of the event and expressed interest in holding of similar meetings on a larger scale in the future.
