05 February 2026, 13:16 561

Today, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex has confidently strengthened its status, not only as one of Uzbekistan's key industrial flagships, but also as a true driving force behind the industrial development of the entire region.

Large-scale and promising investment projects consistently implemented at the Complex in recent years have attracted the close attention of leading global companies and international investors.

In the conditions of steady growth of global demand for non-ferrous and precious metals, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex's production capacity and technological potential open new strategic opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation to its international partners.

A clear demonstration of this was the visit of the delegation of representatives from the prestigious companies from the Czech Republic on 4 February this year.

The visit began with a tour of the museums located in the “Metallurg” Palace of Culture, where the guests learned about the history of Almalyk and the stages of the Complex development. The delegation then visited the Qalmaqqyr mine's observation deck, where they were able to observe the ore mining process firsthand.

The next stop on the itinerary was the Central Repair and Mechanical Plant, a key element of the AMMC Localization Program. The Complex production capacity, modern process equipment, and product range aroused keen interest of the foreign guests.

During the meeting with the Complex specialists, the Czech representatives presented the activities of their companies which specialize in mechanical machinery production, engineering, information technology and industrial equipment supplies. They also presented in detail the products, solutions and service support formats offered.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to develop promising areas of cooperation and further develop their partnership.
