As part of the celebrations for the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the cultural and educational event under the motto "One People, One Homeland, One Goal" was held at the “Metallurg” Palace of Culture.

At the initiative of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex's Council for Spirituality and Enlightenment, the creative meeting was organized for residents of Almalyk and the Complex employees with Farmon Toshev, the member of the Writers' Union and the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan, an honorary senator, and renowned writer and public figure. The event was attended by plant management, representatives of the company's workforce, town residents, and the public.

During the meeting, Farmon Toshev shared his reflections on the large-scale transformations and historic achievements the country has achieved since independence. The evening's participants were particularly impressed by the author's works and patriotic poems dedicated to the Motherland, which he recited. The intellectuals who spoke particularly noted the writer's distinctive creative style, as well as the patriotic and folk motifs reflected in his works.

In the second part of the program, the Samarkand Maqom Ensemble performed for the audience, providing guests with vibrant emotions and an unforgettable atmosphere. One of the most important achievements of independent Uzbekistan has been the revival of a rich cultural heritage that remained undeservedly forgotten for many years. The national art of maqom is not only carefully preserved by the state today but is also gaining recognition far beyond the country's borders. The performance of ancient melodies and folk music was a true highlight of the evening.

Throughout the evening, beloved musical pieces, heartfelt poetry, and sincere conversations were played. All of this left the audience with the warmest and most vivid impressions. Such creative encounters contribute to the strengthening of the ideas of unity, patriotism, and creativity in society, reflected in the motto "One People, One Homeland, One Goal."

At the end of the event, AMMC management thanked the guests for their participation and presented them with commemorative gifts.
