Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex surveyors continue to carry out effective work using modern technologies.

On November 5 of this year, specialists of the Surveying Department under the Resources and Mining Operations Department completed important practical tasks as part of the project to open reserves at the new “Chaqmoqtosh” mine, located within the “Chadak” mine.

In particular, a precise topographic survey of the area designated for future installation of power lines and a substation has been completed.

Using a modern drone, aerial photography was carried out over a 100-hectare area stretching from the “Ertosh” substation to the Forest Management security post. Based on the collected data, a highly accurate topographic plan was produced and handed over to the project organization.

These works will contribute to the development of infrastructure for the new “Chaqmoqtosh” mine, the design of its power supply system, and the acceleration of processes for bringing the reserves into production.
