It is known that the Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz, is currently in our country on an official visit.

As part of the visit, a roundtable discussion was held between the business circles of Uzbekistan and Germany in the city of Samarkand. The leadership of AMMC also participated in it.

After that, a loan agreement was signed between "Almalyk KMK" JSC and German banks "KfW IPEX Bank" and "AKA". According to it, German banks will provide funds in the amount of 146.0 million euros for the first tranche of financing the construction of a new copper smelting complex.
