Yesterday, December 24, in Tashkent in the park “New Uzbekistan” in honor of the 31st anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan held competition in relay race “Yangi Nafas - Ekiden”.

Men’s and women’s teams of students and employees of law enforcement agencies, teams of students of higher educational institutions, corporate teams and amateur runners took part in it.

It is noteworthy that employees of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex also participated in the race.

Medals were raffled off in each of these categories, as well as in the absolute championship and in the mixed relay race.

In total, about 100 teams, each consisting of seven participants, came to the start of the race. The distance of each stage was 3.18 kilometers, and in total the whole race was 22.26 kilometers.

According to the results of the competition the women’s team of AMMC took the second place and became the owner of silver medals. Our men’s team took the third place and received bronze medals. The winners and prize-winners of the competition were awarded with cash prizes.
