Today, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex is consistently implementing large-scale investment projects aimed at upgrade of production facilities in accordance with current requirements.

Strategic programs that include expansion of the Complex raw material base, implementation of digital technologies, and increase of production efficiency are of particular importance for the enterprise further development. Within the framework of these investment projects, the development of production infrastructure and improvement of logistics continues. The next important step in this direction was the commissioning of a new facility.

Thus, on the territory of the Central Open Pit of the Kalmakyr mine, fuel filling station No. 21 of the “Nefteproduktsnab” Division (UNPS) began operating.

According to Vohidkhon Rakhmonov, head of the UNPS filling station service, the launch of the new facility will primarily increase the productivity of large-scale technological equipment,operated around the clock at the Yoshlik and Kalmakyr mines. Now refueling specialized vehicles will be much faster and more convenient.

The new fuel filling station, capable to refuel large-scale equipment daily with up to 60 tons of fuel, is located immediately on the pit site at the most convenient location, providing the company with a number of economic advantages. First of all, technological transport will no longer have to travel long distances to refuel. Thanks to this, diesel fuel can be obtained directly on site, without unnecessary expenditure of time and resources. In addition, the time required to refuel equipment is significantly reduced, allowing to avoid downtime of production equipment and ensures the continuity of the technological process. Another important advantage is that delivery of fuel immediately to the pit site significantly reduces production and logistical risks.

Thus, the commissioning of fuel filling station No. 21 became the next stage in the implementation of the program to increase the Complex production capacity. The new facility will contribute to greater stability of technological processes and to significant savings in energy resources and operating time for the enterprise.
