At the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, the implementation of the investment project “Development of the Yoshlik I deposit” is underway with full pace.
As part of the investment project, the plant purchased new mining and transport equipment to carry out the works at the Yoshlik I quarry.
In particular, two modern KRANTAS “NMT-240” dump trucks were recently delivered to AMMC. As Bahrom Niyazmetov, Deputy Head of the Process Transport Department for Operation, said, the carrying capacity of this machinery is 240 tons. It is noteworthy that dump trucks are manufactured by “NURAFSHON-MAXSUS-TEXNIKA” LLC in accordance with the Localization Program. Currently, PTD specialists are assembling equipment that will be used at the Yoshlik I quarry.
Currently, the works have already been organized to train 25 specialists in the operation of new quarry equipment. It is also planned to purchase three more similar dump trucks in the near future.
In addition, at the end of 2023, the PTD vehicle fleet was replenished with 6 LGMG MS25 watering machines. Quarry watering machines are specialized quarry equipment with a cross-country chassis and tanks for transporting and spraying large volumes of water. Such machines are widely used for dust suppression on quarry roads.
Also last year, two tire manipulators were purchased, designed for the safest and most efficient performance of works on removing, installing, loading and moving large wheels of dump trucks.
The truck crane with a lifting capacity of 60 tons, produced by the capital's Krantas enterprise, was delivered to the technical fleet of the Road Transport Department.
For reference: in 2020-2021, as part of the investment project “Development of the Yoshlik I field,” AMMC acquired 31 BelAZ dump trucks with the carrying capacity of 220 tons.
