Today, the Chairman of the Board of JSC “Almalyk MMC” Abdulla Khursanov, together with the Complex’s managers and specialists, visited the copper Concentrator plant to personally get acquainted with the progress of the enterprise's modernization.

During the visit, he inspected the copper-molybdenum concentrate selection and drying shop in detail and talked to the workers.

As part of the program for the reconstruction and stabilization of the enterprise's main production capacities, the aspiration and ventilation systems in this division were completely updated. Modern equipment with low energy consumption and high productivity was installed here. All systems were successfully put into operation, and their efficient operation is being monitored.

Obsolete devices were dismantled – smoke collectors, axial fans and old air ducts. Now the department uses cooling and ventilation units, as well as filters made of durable plastic, the service life of which is up to 50 years. Previously, similar equipment was made of metal and required replacement every three months, which led to significant costs. It is important to note that all new equipment is environmentally friendly and manufactured at the joint venture DIT-AMMC, created by AMMC in cooperation with Germany. These units meet modern requirements for reliability, energy efficiency and sanitary safety and contribute to the implementation of the strategic task – modernization of the plant's production base.

As part of the reconstruction, 9 aspiration systems, 25 cooling units and 48 deflectors were installed. Thanks to these upgrades, the department saves an average of 75 kW of electricity per hour, which gives an annual savings of 650-660 million UZS.

At the end of the meeting with the factory team, Abdulla Khursanov emphasized that such transformations in all divisions of the plant contribute to the growth of labor productivity, and wished the employees new successes and the achievement of great goals.
