In the context of the rapid growth of global demand for energy resources and the constant rise in their cost, the issue of transition to environmentally friendly, energy-efficient and renewable energy sources is becoming increasingly important. Interest in solar energy, which is considered a technically accessible and absolutely safe source of energy for the environment, is developing especially quickly.

Today, solar energy is being actively introduced not only in developed countries, but also in many developing countries, including Uzbekistan. Educational events dedicated to energy efficiency and sustainable energy consumption are held in various divisions of Almalyk mining and metallurgical complex.

One of such events took place at the Copper concentrator plant-2. The discussion was attended by the plant's Chief power engineer Davron Akhmedov and representatives of organizations involved in the installation of solar photovoltaic stations. During the meeting, issues of rational use of energy resources, the advantages of "green" energy and the economic benefits of using renewable energy sources were discussed.

The workers were told in detail about the types of solar panels, their operating principles and practical advantages. A similar event was held at the copper smelter. Representatives of specialized companies held presentations on the capabilities of solar power plants and the economic feasibility of their installation. It was noted that solar panels not only provide enterprises with electricity, but also allow generating additional income due to excess energy production. Such initiatives help to develop environmental thinking among workers, a careful attitude to resources and an understanding of the importance of sustainable energy for the future of the country.
