On November 7 of this year, the Almalyk mining and metallurgical complex was visited by a delegation headed by the Chief advisor to the director general of the European commission for international Cooperation Henrik Hololei and the EU Ambassador to Uzbekistan Toivo Klaar.

At the meeting between the AMMC management and the guests, it was noted that cooperation between the plant and the European Union in the field of important minerals is of strategic importance. During the event, negotiations were also held on establishing further partnership relations.

In addition, the guests visited the viewing platforms of the “Kalmakyr” mine and the copper concentrator-3 under construction.
