These were the issues that were the focus of a preventive event held recently at the Copper Concentrator Plant-3. The seminar discussed such topics as crime prevention, combating corruption, ensuring labor discipline and improving industrial safety.
The event was attended by representatives of the plant's management, law enforcement officers, and employees of the enterprise.
The speakers, including representatives of the specialized prosecutor's office of the town of Almalyk, emphasized the need to take comprehensive measures to eliminate the causes of offenses and the factors that contribute to their occurrence. Specific examples of violations of the law were given and their roots were analyzed. The participants paid special attention to the fact that even minor violations in professional activities can entail serious consequences – both for an individual employee and for the reputation of the entire team.
It was also announced that in the first quarter of 2025 alone, over 6,000 crimes committed by young people were registered in the republic, of which over 700 involved minors. Unfortunately, cases of offenses, including petty thefts, are also noted in the structural divisions of the plant. The inevitability of punishment for any crime was separately emphasized.
During the meeting, examples of serious consequences of violations of safety regulations at construction sites were given. Workers were reminded of their personal responsibility for their own safety. Measures to suppress corruption at the enterprise were also announced.
At the end of the preventive seminar, plans were defined for systematic work in the field of legal education of employees, popularization of legal culture and mandatory compliance with laws. It was decided to hold such meetings regularly and to strengthen explanatory work at the local level.
