+998 71 619 23 33A group of famous poets and writers of the country visited the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex in celebration of the Day of Workers of the Mining and Metallurgical Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Among the guests were members of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan: Salim Ashur, Ashurali Boymurod, Abdurahmon Pirimkulov, Nurillokh Chori, Mamurjon Bozoraliev, Zokhidjon Olov, Latif Mansur and Javlon Jovliev. They took part in festive events organized at the divisions of the complex and delighted the employees with their creativity. During their speeches, the writers emphasized the importance of the reforms being carried out in the country, as well as the huge contribution of the complex to strengthening the economic potential of Uzbekistan. It was especially noted that the miners and metallurgists of AMMC are the real heroes of our time.
The writers also got acquainted with the construction of the Copper Concentrator plant-3.
During the visit, the writers met with Senator Abdulla Khursanov, Chairman of the Board of Almalyk MMC JSC.
— Today, global projects are being implemented at the complex. During Soviet period, the production capacity of the complex could enable it to process up to 40 million tons of ore per year. The copper Concentrator plant-3, which is currently under construction, is designed to process 60 million tons. Thousands of employees who make a huge contribution to the implementation of these mega-projects are the heroes for your future works. Even the foreign delegations visiting us were delighted with the scale of the complex, and they are especially impressed by the construction of a new plant, said Abdulla Khursanov.
During a warm and meaningful meeting, the writers shared their impressions of the transformations taking place at the complex. In their opinion, AMMC is a place where plots for truly significant and inspiring works are born.
At the end of the visit, AMMC and the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan had agreed on further creative cooperation.
