Attention to companies providing monitoring and supervision services in the field of precious metals refining in accordance with LBMA requirements and Good Delivery status

Dear Sirs/Madams,

Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex JSC (Almalyk MMC JSC), in order to comply with the requirements of the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) and to confirm conformity with Good Delivery status, plans to conduct monitoring of the precious metals refining process, including bullion casting and sampling operations (dip sampling), under the supervision of a qualified and LBMA-accredited Supervisor.

Within the framework of preparation for a procurement procedure aimed at selecting the most suitable service provider, Almalyk MMC JSC invites interested companies to submit commercial proposals for participation in a selection/competitive procedure for the provision of the following services:

  • appointment of a qualified and LBMA-accredited Supervisor to oversee sampling and bullion casting processes;
  • on-site presence of the Supervisor during operations involving samples and bullion;
  • provision of full documentary reporting on the results of monitoring in accordance with LBMA requirements;
  • calculation of service costs, including a fixed fee per operation, as well as possible travel and accommodation expenses of the Supervisor;
  • proposed terms and timelines for the provision of services.

Commercial proposals should include a clear and comprehensive description of service conditions, pricing and timelines, as well as information confirming the qualifications and experience of the service provider.

Please also provide details regarding the proposed Supervisor’s qualifications, valid LBMA accreditations, and experience working with precious metals refineries in the context of Good Delivery requirements.

Additionally, we kindly request that the location of Almalyk MMC JSC (Tashkent Region, Republic of Uzbekistan) be taken into account, and that the possibility of providing the above-mentioned services through local branches or authorized entities located within the Republic of Uzbekistan or in nearby regions be considered.

Submitted commercial proposals will be reviewed in a manner ensuring competition and an objective selection of the most advantageous proposal, in compliance with the principles of transparency, equal treatment of participants and economic efficiency.

We would appreciate receiving your commercial proposal at your earliest convenience, as it is required to initiate the selection/procurement procedure.

Commercial proposals shall be accepted within five (5) business days from the date of publication of this announcement.
