+998 71 619 23 33From November 18 to 25 of this year, "Open Doors Days" were held at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex for representatives of central, regional, and local print media.
Based on the approved schedule, the events were conducted in structural subdivisions such as the Copper Enrichment Plant, Copper Smelting Plant, Central Repair and Mechanical Plant, Zinc Plant and Central Analytical Laboratory, Industrial Railway Transport Department, 2nd Copper Enrichment Plant, Automobile Transport Department, Technological Transport Department, and Specialized Repair Works Department.
The events were attended by Nazira Matyakubova, editor-in-chief of "O'zbekiston ovozi" newspaper; Akmal Umaraliev, head of the Tashkent Regional Council of the People's Democratic Party; Tukhtamurod Khasanboev, deputy editor-in-chief of "Toshkent haqiqati" newspaper; Said Anvar, member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, writer, and section editor of "Sharq yulduzi" magazine; Kholmukhammad Karimiy, editor-in-chief of "Yoshlik" magazine; Oysara Dadaeva, member of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan; Bekhruz Nurboboev, famous singer; Hilola Saloeva, editor-in-chief of "Science and Innovation Development" journal; Sevara Abdullaeva, editor-in-chief of "Innovator" magazine; Kamol Matyokubov, journalist of "Adolat" newspaper; Bakhtiyor Karim, editor-in-chief of "Adabiyot" newspaper; representatives of "Jadid" newspaper; Dilmurod Kirgizboev, deputy editor-in-chief of "Hurriyat" newspaper; and editors of local newspapers.
Representatives of print media who participated in the events emphasized the plant's role in the country's economy and noted that the plant's workers are heroes of our time.
During a cordial conversation with the plant's employees, journalists provided information about the activities of their publications, the content of newspapers, information policy, and new projects.
Media representatives expressed their views on how many young people today are becoming dependent on social networks, and emphasized that reading books and newspapers enhances not only spiritual but also intellectual potential.
Kamola Umaralieva, Advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, emphasized that the complex consistently supports media and press, and relies on journalists to cover the investment projects being implemented at the complex and the activities of leading employees.
An industrial excursion to the complex's enterprises was also organized for journalists.
During the events, an agreement was reached on establishing permanent cooperation between the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex and print media.
