Today, with the assistance of the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the information service of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex  (AMMC) organized a training seminar for press secretaries of industry enterprises.

Representative of the information service of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications D. Kurbonova spoke about the shortcomings, positive aspects, trends in the preparation of press releases for various media events, and also focused on the issue of organizing journalist pools.

The event was attended by representatives of the press services of enterprises included in the structure of the ministry. The seminar was opened by Murod Fayziev, a leading specialist of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications. He held a practical session on photography and mobilography. Participants learned how to choose the right angles, select images on the topic and work with the technical characteristics of photographic equipment. Then, the Head of the Information Service of AMMC Umida Karshiboeva spoke with a presentation on the topic: "How to prepare a press release, what a press kit is, how to build interaction with journalists and bloggers, and effectively conduct the work of the press service." She shared practical advice on organizing information activities, crisis management and establishing communication with the media.

The seminar was held in a lively, interactive atmosphere - the participants actively discussed topics, shared opinions and experiences. Particular attention was paid to work in social networks: the participants were given recommendations on how to effectively talk about the successes, reforms and current activities of enterprises through digital platforms.

After the business part, the participants visited the AMMC museum to better understand the history and scale of the enterprise.

A strong impression was made by the excursion to one of the largest mines in the world, Kalmakyr. The press secretaries saw with their own eyes the technological process of ore mining.

The next object was the observation deck of the copper processing plant-3 under construction. The participants were told about its production potential, the installed equipment and the significance of the project for the development of the region. In conclusion, all active participants were awarded certificates. There were also proposals to hold such events more often in order to strengthen cooperation between the information services of industry enterprises.
