At a briefing held at the Information and Mass Communications Agency, Umida Karshibaeva, Head of the Information Service of the Almalyk mining and metallurgical complex, spoke about the indicators achieved by the Almalyk mining and metallurgical complex in 2024:

production

during the reporting period, commercial products were produced in the amount of 38.1 trillion soums, the forecast in this area was fulfilled by 116.1%. consumer goods were produced in the amount of 7.5 billion soums. the copper ore mining target was fulfilled by 101.6%, the growth rate was +104.5%. the forecast for processing copper raw materials was fulfilled by 100.1% (the growth rate was +101.6%).

in 2024, for the first time in the history of the plant, a record volume of products was obtained from its own raw materials - 130.0 thousand tons of copper. the target for zinc production from its own raw materials was fulfilled by 117.1%. The forecast for the extraction and processing of polymetallic ores was fulfilled by 100.5%.

tasks for the extraction and processing of gold-bearing ores, the production of copper sulfate, technical selenium and tellurium, ammonium perrhenate, copper wire, palladium powder, molybdenum trioxide, and sulfuric acid were also completed.

localization

the localization program is being effectively implemented at the AMMC. in 2024, localized products worth 1 trillion 567 billion soums were manufactured under 268 projects, the forecast in this area was fulfilled by 103%. compared to the same period in 2023, the growth rate increased by 3.6 times, the efficiency of import substitution amounted to 121.5 million us dollars.

export

according to the results of 2024, the workforce of the Almalyk mining and metallurgical complex fulfilled all the forecast indicators for the export of manufactured products.

in particular, in 2024, products worth a total of 610,852,000 US dollars were exported, the forecast was fulfilled by 111.1%.

in terms of products, 51,698 tons of copper products were delivered to foreign consumers during the reporting period, the forecast was fulfilled by 132.6%. 15,183 tons of lead concentrate were exported (the forecast was fulfilled by 121.5%) and 760 tons of molybdenum products (the forecast was fulfilled by 109.3%).

the tasks for the export of rhenium, cadmium, copper sulfate, and palladium powder were also fulfilled.

for reference: in 2024, the workforce of the AMMC was faced with the task of implementing product exports worth 550.0 million us dollars, which was accomplished by mid-november.

investment program

as part of the investment program in 2024, the AMMC mastered 1 billion 943.9 million us dollars, the forecast was fulfilled by 103.2% (the growth rate compared to 2023 was 172.3%).

digitalization

in 2024, 31 events were implemented at the AMMC as part of digitalization work. in total, savings in the amount of 92 billion 550 million soums were achieved.

reduction in the cost of production

in 2024, comprehensive measures were taken to reduce the cost of production. thus, the forecast was 1 trillion 329.5 billion soums (10.03% of total costs). in fact, the cost of production for the reporting period was reduced by 1 trillion 670.5 billion soums (12.6% of total costs). the forecast was fulfilled by 125.7%.

payments to the budget                                                              

in 2024, the AMMC paid 19.3 trillion soums in tax deductions to the state budget.
