Today, the meeting was held at the Central Office of AMMC dedicated to the work carried out in the first half of 2026 and future priority tasks.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board of AMMC, Abdulla Khursanov, the managers, heads of structural divisions and heads of departments of Complex.

- The staff of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex ensured the fulfillment of all the production tasks set for the first half of 2026, – sayd Abdulla Khursanov. – In particular, as of January-June 2026, 30.9 trillion UZS of saleable products were produced, and the forecast was fulfilled for 133.3%. The forecast for the production of copper cathodes, the main product of the Complex, was fulfilled by 100.0%.

In the first half of the year, products worth $ 493.4 million were exported, and the forecast was fulfilled by 148.6%.

The Investment Program for 2026 provided for disbursement of $ 294.6 million within the framework of 7 major projects of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, and investments in the amount of $ 142.8 million were made in 6 months. The forecast was fulfilled by 101.9%. The localization program is also being effectively implemented at Complex. In 2026, the program envisages the implementation of 40 projects worth 1,511.1 billion UZS. Over the past 6 months, the indicator of localized products based on 35 projects amounted to 649.8 billion UZS, or 102.1 percent of the forecast.

The set of organizational and technical measures to reduce production costs for 2026 has been developed, which provides for a reduction in production costs by 2,301.5 billion UZS, or 13.2%.

The expected result from the implementation of the set of measures to reduce production costs according to the results of the first half of the year is expected to be 1,148.2 billion UZS, or 14.2%.

The plant also paid 16.0 trillion UZS to the budget in the first half of the year.

During the event, the meeting was held devoted to the further development of the ferrous metallurgy industry, increasing its competitiveness, expanding production capacity, and attracting investment in the sector. The implementation of priority tasks at Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex was analyzed in detail. The meeting took place during the President's visit to the town of Bekabad on 13 July this year.

The meeting, which was held in a critical spirit, heard the reports from responsible managers on the issues on the agenda. During the discussions, each manager was given specific tasks to create safe and decent working conditions for employees, provide them with social support, and increase labor productivity.
