Dear Friends!

I sincerely congratulate you, the entire friendly multinational team of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex on the 75^th anniversary of the establishment of this large production complex - the pride of the industry of Uzbekistan.

Thanks to the dedicated work of highly qualified miners, specialists, workers and employees, the multi-industry plant, which has won worldwide fame with its glorious traditions, makes a huge contribution to increasing the economic power of our country and the well-being of the people.

In recent years, in order to implement the priority tasks for the efficient use of existing natural resources and the development of national industry based on advanced technologies, a large-scale modernization has been carried out at the plant.

At the sites of Kalmakir, Angren, Chadak, Khandiza and the newly discovered deposit Yoshlik-1, 6 enterprises for deep processing of raw materials, 5 enrichment plants, a copper smelter and zinc plant, and production infrastructure facilities were built. Of course, we are all proud that as a result of such important transformations, the plant occupies a worthy place among the thirty largest copper production complexes in the world.

Currently, the construction of the 3^rd copper processing plant with the processing capacity of 60 million tons of ore per year is being completed here. And recently, during a trip to Almalyk, together with you, we launched the construction of the 4^th copper processing plant of the same capacity. After the commissioning of these production facilities, the plant will be able to process 160 million tons of raw materials annually. This is a record figure in the history of Uzbekistan's industry.

It is noteworthy that in this way, thousands of new jobs will be created at the plant for residents of the Tashkent region. All this is a specific result of our systematic work on the development of driver industries and more complete use of the potential of the regions.

Dear Compatriots!

As you know, we attach priority importance to the issues of attracting large investments in the development of natural resources, training highly qualified personnel for the industrial sector.

In this regard, we place great hopes on the Engineering School created as part of the plant, which operates on the basis of advanced experience, in particular, dual education programs. It is also worth noting the great contribution to the implementation of these tasks of the Almalyk branches of the Tashkent State Technical University and the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys. We will continue to strengthen the material, technical and educational-methodical base of these universities.

In the context of ensuring the vital interests of a person, serious attention is paid to stimulating the hard work of workers and employees of the enterprise, improving their working and rest conditions.

In the future, the work in this direction, of course, will be raised to a new level.

Taking this opportunity, I sincerely congratulate and wish further success to the group of workers and employees of the complex, who were awarded high awards of the Motherland in connection with today's holiday.
