Please accept my sincere congratulations on your professional holiday – Press and Mass Media Workers Day!
Today, the principles of freedom of speech, openness and publicity have become an integral part of socio-political life in our country. This has significantly increased the importance of your profession – journalists are becoming not just witnesses of events, but active participants and conductors of truth, objectivity and public dialogue. At the same time, the responsibility you bear to society is also increasing.
Journalists and bloggers are now at the very epicenter of the transformations taking place in the country. You boldly raise pressing issues and topical topics for public discussion, help society see and understand what is happening, and make a real contribution to the promotion of reforms and positive changes.
The state attaches great importance to the development of the media sphere. The material and technical base of editorial offices is being strengthened, the social status of employees is being supported, professionalism, commitment to the cause, honesty and responsibility are being stimulated. Today, we are already seeing the concrete fruits of this policy.
Among the striking examples is the work of the Information Service of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex. Thanks to the professionalism, high dedication and teamwork, according to the results of 2024, it took second place among the information services of joint-stock companies of the country, scoring 87.8 points. And according to the results of the "Openness Index – 2024", AMMC became the leader in the republic, showing a record 91.8 points.
These impressive results are the merit of the entire team, its involvement, attentive attitude to its mission and sincere desire to convey objective, verified information to people.
I would like to address special words of gratitude to the staff of the newspapers "Almalyk Worker" and "Olmalyk hayoti", which have remained true to their calling for many years. These publications, with a rich history and traditions, continue to adequately cover events in the life of the city, the country, tell about people, forming a living chronicle of time.
Dear colleagues, respected veterans of the industry! I congratulate you on the holiday and thank you for your responsible, honest and noble work. I wish you good health, inexhaustible energy, creative inspiration, new professional successes and bright, significant publications. May your word always serve the truth, and your pen remain sharp, confident and respected.
